We all know that to look and feel good on the outside we need to work on the inside of our bodies too. And in order for this healthy relationship to work, we need to fuel our bodies in the correct way and regularly.
Eating a well balanced diet, drinking plenty of water and getting into a routine is the key to looking and feeling great! Sounds easy doesn’t it? Well if we all know this then why aren’t we doing it?

Many of us are unsure of what healthy eating means - not surprising when you consider the variety of, (often conflicting), advice given. For those of you under medical supervision or with special dietary requirements you will have different needs and should check with your doctor, but as your personal trainer I can advise you on what and when to eat alongside your training to ensure you get the results you are looking for.

It’s all about forming a good relationship with food. Your body does a pretty good job about letting you know what it wants and when it wants it, but sometimes those messages get misdirected or often ignored; either because we are too busy, have eaten too much of the wrong foods for too long, or just plain lazy! You now just need to re-learn your bodies ‘language’.

Simply having real awareness about the things you eat and drink each day, the number of calories in them, and the number of calories you use, enables you to start losing weight by making relatively small changes. Better still, you're much more likely to develop eating and lifestyle habits that you are happy with, and can therefore maintain.
